The girls' third Christmas was a resounding success. Santa got them pretty much everything they asked for (and they forgot about the puppy). We started the day with Livi and Lila up first, Ava stayed asleep. We took the first two to our bedroom, but eagle-eye Lila saw that her stocking had a bunny popping out of it. So, she put up a small stink until we let her open her stocking Fortunately Ava woke up within a few minutes, so all three opened their stockings. We cold have stopped there since they were so happy to open M&M's, a Mickey Mouse cookie and some Disney princesses. We had to coax them into leaving our bedroom to see if Santa left more presents.
Well, he did and they found them. They each got a bike (a tricycle that looks like a Vespa scooter) and about four wrapped gifts. They started into unwrapping and had everything open witin about 8 minutes. Ava was then asking for more, but once we told her that all the gifts were unwrapped, the girls switched to "Open" and we began the opening process. They then added to their haul when Grammy and Pop-pop George came bearing gifts.
We ate dinner at Mom Mom and Pop Pop's and opened a few more gifts. They definitely have a knack for ripping and tearing.
Here are a few shots of them in their Christmas dresses.
