Bathing Beauties!!

Because we aren't busy enough, we are now on vacation at the shore!! Aunt Pip, Uncle Chuck and Chrissy are here from CA. The girls are loving the beach! We can't keep them out of the water and sand. Ava was actually rolling around and army crawling through the surf! We are pretty sure she should have been our boy. Livi just loves to run around chasing seagulls. She hasn't gotten one yet but she is very persistent! Lila is a natural clam digger! Literally, she sits in the surf and picks up the tiniest little clams and shells from the sand. She loves to collect shells. I haven't heard the girls laugh this much in a long time. They run up and down the beach, chasing each other and laughing! We have video but I will have to leave that up to Mike!

The girls got their first glimpse of AC today. We went shopping at the outlets and then Mike and I walked them up to the boardwalk. There is a store in the new peir at Ceasar's that is a huge candy store. They have these big tubes of colored M&Ms that you can mix. We let the girls pick their own colors and put them in bags. Lila picked silver, white and tan. She didn't feel very colorful today. In her defense it was kinda rainy. But they all taste the same and the three of them made short work of thier candy bags!!! Ava sat in the stroller and pointed to everything! Lila just wanted to run out onto the beach. And Liv, well, Liv has fun where ever food is involved!!

Here is the word count for the girls:
Lila - leads the pack with : baby, corn, car, more, ahchoo (as in a sneeze), Joe (as in my dad), go, fruit, Pip (as in my aunt), cheese, turtle, nana, cookie, two (the only number she knows so she apparently always has two of something)
Olivia - baby, car, go, nana
Ava -nana (as in banana), dat (that - as in everything she points to)
They all pretty much have the mommy, daddy, poppop, mommom stuff. Although sometimes I get called momma, which makes me think we are raising the girls on a plantation!! We are really good at animal sounds too. I will be curious what the pediatrician says at our 2 year check up. Oh, I have a birthday party to plan!! The fun just never ends around here!

Here are a few pics. We have more but have to get them off the camera. These are from my phone.
