Weekend Update

Lisa had her big clothing sale on Sunday, so I had the girls to myself (mostly). Their Mom-mom came over and we went to the zoo for a few hours in the morning. We let them out at the Children's Zoo and we ended up spending about 45 minutes in there. They loved feeding and brushing the goats and we spent most of our time doing that. e then let them go on the pony rides. Only Ava cried but it was just when she lost sight of Kass and I. We stayed until 12:30, but Ava passed out in the stroller on the way back to the car. She was zooed out.




We brought them home and put them in for a nap. That didn't happen. I got them out about 45 minutes after they went in and we played the rest of the afternoon. We watched the men's water polo finale and a few other Olympic events beore we ate dinner. When Lisa got home, she had some surprises for the girls...princess clothes. Here are Olivia and Ava all decked out.



Tonight we went to the St. Joan's Carnival. After we bought the rie tickets, we realized the girls are only big enough to go on one ride by themselves and a few with us. So, we did the Merry-go-round and Lisa took them on the spinning dragons. After that we had some water ice, played the cake booth and went home. We didn't get in until 8:30!! Late night!
