The Zink Girls: Ava's lab results and a good day otherwise

We went back to CHOP on Fri for Ava's follow up appt and to get the lab results on her mystery lesion. The good news is that the lesion was not cancerous. The surgeon could tell us that much. The not so good news is that we have to see a dermatological pathologist on Tues to interpret the report. The surgeon was not familiar with the diagnosis on the report. He couldn't even tell us if it was serious or not. Hopefully it is bunch of medical jargon that means she is fine!! We had all the girls with us at CHOP and you can imagine how that went! When the nurse called us back, Mike put olivia down to walk and she promptly fell over his foot and onto the floor. As she was rolling around the floor, Lila was climbing over the back of the waiting room couch heading for the floor head first. And as usual, Ava was off in the opposite direction that we needed to be going in. It took us a few minutes to gather ourselves and then we were able to follow the nurse to the room.
After we left the appt, we took the girls to the zoo. It turned out to be a gorgeous day and we really had a nice time. The girls played in the treehouse for a while, then we went down to the petting zoo and we let them out of the stroller. Olivia loves the animals and was going right after them. Lila got scared by one of the billy goats and made sure to let us know which one it was every time it came near us. Ava was timid at first but then she jumped right in. They petted them and we got some of the food out of the machine for the goats. We went to lunch after the zoo and the girls passed out in the car. We really had a great day!!
Lila has a new favorite word. I guess I should say her first favorite word. "Yeah"
"Did you push your sister?"
"Yeah"
"Do you want dinner?"
"yeah"
It is very funny. Nothing yet from Olivia or Ava other than Dada. Lila seems to be talking all the time although most of it just babbling.
