The girls also shared in mom and grandmom's milkshakes from BK. They seemed to enjoy them.

Finally, they helped make home made pizza over the weekend. Ava, the prissy one, did not like touching the dough, but Lila dug right in. They all enjoyed watching the pizza cook.

Speaking of Ava, we took her to CHOP to see a plastic surgeon about her foot. She was born with what we can only describe as a growth on her left foot. It looks like a callous or planter's wart.Except that neither the pediatrician or the surgeon can tell us what it is. And it keeps growing as her foot grows, so it is always the same size in relation to the size of her foot. The doctor said that since it is not something that showed up when she started wearing shoes or walking, then we should let him take it off and biopsy it. Basically, it shouldn't be there. So we have a surgery scheduled for March 7 at the philadelphia office. Lisa was a little nervous about the anesthesia, Ava has to be under for the surgery, but we both feel comfortable with CHOP. We can bring her home the same day and she will have stitches with glue over them so she can't pick at them. So, look for an update on her foot after March 7.
