Happy Father's Day!!

First Father's Day!!

We spent father's day at the shore. Had a pretty successful beach day. The girls lasted a couple of hours. It was a pretty good weekend!!

I borrowed a couple of jumpers from my triplet group. The first day they used them, the girls went to bed at 6:15!! They love them. Here are a couple of pictures of Olivia and Ava in the jumpers.

Check out our new family truckster!! We traded in Mike's pickup on a Chevy Trailblazer. It is great, plenty of room for us. We already filled it up for our trip to the shore. It will definitely hold the girls next carseats.

The girls had their 9 month check up this week. It went really well. Dr. Rivera was happy with all their development. They are not crawling but she said to give them the 2 months to make up for the prematurity. She said we can start giving them more table food. Which is fine with them because they love to feed themselves. When we put their finger food on the trays they go crazy. Lila and Olivia are really good at it and Ava is just starting to get it. Figures that I just pureed a bunch of baby food!!! Here are the vital stats:
Lila - 18#6oz 27 3/4 inches
Olivia - 19# 2oz 27 3/4 inches
Ava - 17#9 oz 27 1/4 inches
They are all 25 - 50% for weight which is great considering where they started!!!
We started baby proofing our living room. The rolling over is crazy!! They go so fast! Next thing you know someone is ontop of the other or kicking her in the head. They all get up on all fours and rock a little. I think that means they want to crawl. It is funny to see them get their legs going but not actually move anywhere.

We took the girls to the Camden Aquarium for being so good at the doctor's office. Some of the smaller things were lost on them. But the big tanks and the shark tunnel were big hits. Lila followed the sharks with her eyes bigger than normal!! They even got to touch a jelly fish in the touch tank. They really reached out for it and the guy working there lifted one up to the surface for them. It was a fun afternoon.

I put some more pics on photobucket so make sure to check it out.
Also check out the link to Uncle Mike's band. They are having a CD release party and the info is on their site.

Yay for the girls. They are doing great! Their weight percentiles are higher than some full time babies I know :) Nice family truckster - thank goodness Jiggs made it safely to the Equinox.
