On to potty training! Just kidding. As some of you know, sleep is a friend we have not seen in awhile. Well my old friend, prepare for a well deserved reunion. All these dramatics boil down to the fact that we are getting the girls down to sleep at 7 or 7:30. It started with tough love. Mike and I just realized that these girls needed a better night routine; one that didn't involve staying up until midnight. One night we put them in their cribs and two hours later we had sleeping babies. Of course, it was two hours of crying, shushing, bottles and alot of self doubt. Don't forget the gas drops because a baby can't possibly cry that much without something being wrong, can they? That was about 3 weeks ago. Now we can get them down in 20 minutes or so. And here is the big announcement - Lila and Ava sleep through the night!!! Well most nights. Occasionally Ava needs a midnight snack. But that Olivia, god love her, wakes every night for a bottle. She eats and goes right back to sleep so we won't complain. They rise with the sun at about 6.
Other than the big news, the girls are now "playing" with their toys. They pick them up and put them right in their mouth. Lila likes to "make out" with her chicken!!! Olivia has been a little cranky so we are looking for a tooth to come in. In fact, they are all covered with drool most of the time. Charming aren't they!!Enjoy the new pics!!
