All sorts of updating to do...

The Christening
Sunday was the girls' Christening and everything went better than we could have hoped. The girls were very good and quiet during the ceremony. when Olivia did make some noise, she ate some of her bottle and went to sleep. I held Lila during the ceremony and looked down to find her sound asleep in my lap. Pouring the water over their heads only woke them up a little. Ava stayed awake the whole time, but was loudly sucking on her hand. We had a great lunch at Carolo's and everyone seemed to have a great time.

The girls and their grandparents...

Godparents (Unlce Tom, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Sue and Aunt Jen) and Deacon Tarzy...

Ava, Olivia and Lila...

Their 6 month check-up
Today was their 6 month check up and all is still going really well. They are meeting all of their milestones except for rolling over. Diane (the nurse practitioner) said it was not a problem, but if they were not doing it at 9 months, that would be a problem. But so far, everything else checks out fine.

They are now starting on vegetables with their cereal and they are eating it three times a day. They had their first taste of peas today and ate them real well both times they had them today.

Their stats are:
Olivia 16# 2.5 oz. 25 1/2" long
Lila 15 # 12.5 oz. 26 1/4" long
Ava 14# 15.5 oz. 25 3/4" long

They are getting huge!!

First Trip to the Zoo
As a reward for being so good at the doctor and eating their vegetables, we took the girls to the zoo for the afternoon. They stayed in their seats most of the time (except to eat), but we did try to get them to look at the animals. We got some good shots of them "looking" at some animals.

The giant tortoise...

The ladies in Bear Country...

The girls posing with the famous gorilla statue...

The girls looking at a leopard...

The girls have had a busy couple of days and it really knocked them out...
